The Dutch co-packer for food, pet food and fresh products Budelpack has acquired Interpak Holding BV and the group company Interpak BV. On 7 September 2018, the two companies agreed that Budelpack would acquire all shares in the co-packer. Interpak is based in Tholen in the Netherlands.
The location Tholen will be retained for the time being, announces Budelpack with. Peter Knipscheer, former major shareholder and managing director of Interpak, will work as Site Manager in Tholen in future. Stefan van Olphen, former minority shareholder, will continue to be responsible for relations with business customers as Account Manager.
According to their own statements, the merged companies now have 42 own packaging lines at the Poortvliet and Tholen sites. There are also 44 separate High-care production rooms available. In addition, the company is also able to set up temporary, local packaging solutions at any location at the customer's request.
