All Metsä Board board grades have now received DIN CERTCO certification for industrial compostability according to DIN EN 13432 and ASTM D6400.
The MetsäBoard Prime FBB EB eco-barrier board also has the Certification as home compostable product.

The Standard DIN EN 13432 contains the „Requirements for the recycling of packaging through composting and biodegradation“. The Standard ASTM D 6400 regulates the labelling of plastics for aerobic composting in municipal or industrial plants. The certified board grades apply to all Metsä Board products, except those with PE coating.
