Cooperation for more digitalisation

RE: GmbH and Comexi want to make progress in the production of plastic packaging. To this end, the two companies have joined forces. The focus is particularly on digitalisation in the plastics extrusion and packaging industry.

Plastics processors and packaging manufacturers around the world are struggling with the Integration of data from their manufacturing processes into the broader production landscape. This covers a wide range of critical processes, from print quality and sealing to coating, lamination and waste disposal. Existing stand-alone solutions have hindered comprehensive process integration, preventing valuable optimisation opportunities.

In order to meet this challenge, RE: GmbH, a start-up company from the Reifenhäuser Group, which specialises in digital solutions for industry, and Comexi, a provider of printing, laminating and cutting solutions, have pooled their expertise.

„At Comexi, we strive to be at the forefront of pioneering advances in the packaging sector. The partnership with RE: GmbH is a logical step for us to continue offering added value to our customers. Our co-operation goes beyond the mere integration of conversion processes. We are ushering in a new era of productivity, quality and sustainability throughout the entire production chain.“
