Kern with e-commerce theme at LogiMat

Kern will be presenting the PackOnTime 2box multi-format packaging system at its LogiMat stand. This allows users to customise a shipping box to the respective contents.

The system is designed for the automated packaging of goods in a wide range of sizes. The shipping boxes are always individually configured to the respective contents. This reduces material consumption to a minimum and thus fulfils sustainability and economic efficiency requirements. This also eliminates the need for padding. The PackOnTime 2box processes any combination of different products in just a few steps and provides them in a robustly designed shipping package that can be reused for possible returns.

As the system produces dispatch boxes on demand when they are needed, storage space can also be saved. The system has already won several awards. The PackOnTime 2box has already been honoured three times with the German Packaging Award in Gold, the Swiss Packaging Award and the title „LogiMat Best Product 2020“ and has impressed several expert juries.
