A new digital event, D-EXPO Circular Economy, offers the plastics industry a platform for all aspects of sustainability, recycling, eco-design and the circular economy. The online event will take place from 13-16 April 2021.
The possible uses for plastics are becoming increasingly diverse. At the same time, production continues to increase every year, which means that the global responsibility of business and industry to make the use of plastics more sustainable, resource-saving and environmentally friendly is growing.

At the digital trade fair for the circular economy in the plastics industry, companies and associations can take the opportunity to present themselves on the topics of circular economy and sustainability and exchange ideas with visitors. The D-EXPO Circular Economy aims to be a Direct interaction with plastics experts and offers direct communication between visitors and exhibitors via live chat.

This is supplemented by a Extensive supporting programme on a wide variety of topics. The spectrum of the agenda ranges from Plastic recycling through to eco-design and packaging. The event will be opened by keynote speaker Ingemar Bühler, Managing Director of PlasticsEurope, the association of plastics producers. Naturally, the topic of the circular economy will be discussed in detail. Frank Stammer from the German Association of Technical Plastics Products (GKV/TecPart) will give a presentation on where the latter is currently heading. The programme also includes a presentation by the Institute for Plastics Processing (IKV Aachen) on the prospects and possibilities of plastics recycling.
