Last year, the Swiss company O. Kleiner AG replaced the existing HP Indigo 20,000 with the fifth generation, the HP Indigo 25K (photo). The optimised software has simplified operation and, thanks to the new CCC (Continuous Color Calibration) function, more consistent colouring has been achieved.
Digital printing is proving to be the ideal solution for small to medium print runs, and the company continues to see itself in a pioneering role. In addition, Canpeel, the Can sealing system with transparent, peelable lid films, continues on its successful path. The premium canned products, which are now also available in a rectangular format, stand out on the shelf thanks to Canpeel.
In order to expand its product portfolio, the company has also invested in a New system for the production of special bags invested. The focus in this area is on coffee bags made from mono-material, including the valve. Based on the sustainability strategy, the first runs of mono-material laminates were already delivered at the beginning of 2022. The newly developed composite, which is already in use, fulfils all requirements for mechanical recycling.
