Direct labelling with digital print data enables the unmixed recyclability of plastic products. REA Jet's industrial labelling systems therefore also fulfil this year's Fakuma motto: „digital meets circular economy“.

As an internationally positioned full-range supplier REA Electronics the entire spectrum of industrial marking - from digital direct printing with laser and ink to labelling and checking the applied information for legibility and conformity. At Fakuma 2023, the company will be focussing on its Systems with digital, contactless labelling of the REA Jet product line and code verification systems from REA Verifier.

No matter which REA-Jet technology - they are all equipped with the REA Jet Titan platform operable. For users of various REA printing systems this reduces the error rate and the effort required for familiarisation. It also simplifies personnel planning.

Convertible cabin for laser processing

Completely consumable-free is the REA Jet FL fibre laser. Using only the power of light, it causes a colour change in the plastic or additives incorporated in it and allows labelling, codes and markings of all kinds to be created from variable data. They remain captive on the product for its entire service life and can therefore also be used for traceability.

At Fakuma 2023, REA Elektronik will be showcasing the Fibre laser integrated into the laser processing cabin. Its adaptable concept and autofocus function allow customers to customise it precisely to their requirements. The variables range from a stand-alone manual workstation to a fully automated, networked marking station, from the size of the process chamber to the power and positioning of the laser and the labelling field to the material feed and removal.

The REA Jet HR inkjet printer is an all-rounder. On non-absorbent and difficult-to-mark surfaces made of extruded plastic or injection-moulded parts, it creates high-resolution markings with the best adhesion and legibility and the shortest drying time. Whether alphanumeric texts, logos or variable information such as date, time, counters, shift codes and database content - the Depending on the size of the motif, up to four writing heads can be combined for this purpose and markings up to 50.8 millimetres high can be applied. And they remain attached to the plastic part for its entire service life.

With the innovative „Wet-on-wet“ technology saves The REA Jet HR makes it easier for users to apply labels to surfaces that are difficult to mark, such as smooth transparent or dark film, as well as the associated logistics and warehousing. And last but not least it helps to keep plastic products unmixed - for a high recycling rate.

Inline and reliable, the REA Jet HR Machine-readable codes and plain text on. With its double writing head, it first prints a white ink mirror and then immediately writes on it with black or coloured ink before the two dry together.

Also on show at the Fakuma: The labelling system REA Jet SC 2.0. The high-performance small character printer for 1 to 8 lines of text, any data as well as logos, data matrix codes and barcodes has been specially designed for industrial applications. With „Continuous Ink-Jet“ printing, in which a continuous drop jet is electrostatically deflected, it ensures Optimum print quality on smooth surfaces such as plastics, foils or even glass and metals. With good resolution, high printing speeds and extremely short drying times, it can be integrated into pretty much any production line.

Frank Debusmann, Sales Director national marking systems, will also be giving a presentation on 17 October in the Exhibitor Forum on the topic of „Innovative marking solutions for the plastics industry“.
