At the new drupa next age (dna) special show, newcomers to the print and packaging industry, young talents, start-ups and established companies can network at eye level, find suitable cooperation partners and exchange innovative business ideas.

With Deborah Corn and Frank Tueckmantel, drupa has two Strong partners with many years of industry expertise for the organisation and design of the trend forum for cross-sectional technologies.

Big ideas, small budget - for many young companies it is not easy to make the right contacts and establish their exciting and forward-looking solutions on the market. drupa has created a special platform for this target group: drupa next age (dna). Here, newcomers, young talents, start-ups and established companies can network as equals, find suitable cooperation partners and exchange innovative business ideas. For some participants, this is the chance to present themselves to an international audience of experts for the first time ever.

„In today's digital age, technology cannot replace one thing:  Personal communication,“ explains Frank Tueckmantel, who is responsible for the design of the dna programme together with Deborah Corn.

„And why is face-to-face marketing so important: because no tweet, snap or other chat can ever replace a relationship between real people. Face-to-face marketing is about visibility and trust. What's more, personal interaction encourages a willingness to engage. That's why it's an honour and a great pleasure for me to co-design the dna programme with drupa and I hope to engage in conversation with many of the visitors who will be attending the biggest industry gathering our industry has to offer.“

Easy participation thanks to „plug-and-play“

In order to keep the hurdles for participation low, drupa is focussing on a transparent stand concept with flexible modules and „plug-and-play“. Presentations, panel discussions and interviews at the dna Stage complement the exhibition area in Hall 7.0 and are the ideal forum for attracting investors with new business models, product solutions and technologies.

Main topics of dna are among others: Additive Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, Business Intelligence, New Materials, Platform Economy, Predictive Maintenance, Printed Electronics, Remote Services, New Business Models and Process Design. Interested companies can currently still register to take part in the dna Forum. There are several ways to get involved: as an exhibitor, sponsor or speaker.

„drupa dna is the ‚big bang‘ for young companies, new ideas and fresh perspectives that will shape and define the future of print. Our curated programme provides a global stage for discussions on technologies, tools and people that will drive the industry forward and open up unique opportunities for the graphic communications value chain. I encourage everyone to stop by Hall 7.0 during their stay at drupa and get a head start on shaping a successful future.“
