From 26 to 28 November 2024, the German Packaging Institute e. V. (dvi) will be presenting a diverse programme at BrauBeviale in Nuremberg. The focus will be on sustainable packaging solutions and the impact of the EU Packaging Regulation on the beverage industry.
The German Packaging Institute e. V. is shown on the BrauBeviale 2024 and invites industry members to participate. Under the motto „The We Connects Diversity“, the dvi is organising the Speaker Forum Packaging, which focuses on topics such as sustainability, innovative materials and EU regulations.
The programme includes eight presentations by experts. A central topic is the new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and their impact on the beverage industry. In addition, practical approaches for dealing with materials such as Fibre casting, wood and plastic presented. Visitors will learn how these materials can reduce the ecological footprint and at the same time improve the functionality and design of packaging.

Special highlights of the forum are Presentations on labels and capsules, which can emotionally enhance packaging through their visual and haptic design. In addition to the forum, the dvi offers free admission tickets to the trade fair, which are available via the institute's website.
