In the course of a sustainability rating by EcoVadis Syntegon achieved silver status. For the assessment, EcoVadis 21 sustainability criteria in the four areas of environment, labour and human rights, business ethics and sustainable procurement tested. Compared to the previous year, in which Syntegon was awarded bronze status, the company was able to improve by more than 20 percentage points in all areas. This puts Syntegon in the top 25 per cent of companies with over 1,000 employees assessed by EcoVadis. Among mechanical engineering companies, Syntegon is even in the top 16 per cent.

As part of its assessment, Ecovadis examines the extent to which the principles of sustainability are integrated into the respective business and management systems.
