Efficient packaging of confectionery and baked goods

At Fachpack 2022, Sacmi will be showcasing a newly developed chocolate wrapping machine and a fully electronic flow-wrapping machine for confectionery and baked goods. Both machines enable the processing of environmentally friendly films.

The new HY7 multi-style chocolate wrapping machine under the Carle & Montanari brand masters the current challenges with regard to flexible formats. The system developed by Sacmi model exhibited in Nuremberg in Top Twist configuration packs up to 500 chocolates per minute. Side or double twist as well as bundle, envelope or simple wrapping are also possible. The wrapping machine even processes very delicate or irregularly shaped products with maximum efficiency (image).

The top model of the new horizontal JT Advance flow-wrapping machine series is produced and marketed under the OPM brand. Its extensive configurability makes the series a The optimum solution for products such as chocolate and muesli bars, snacks and chocolates, that require a high output of up to 150 metres of film per minute. Users can use the JT Advance to produce flat or gusseted pouches, pouches with offset sealing and with tear strip, as well as on-edge packaging. Hot or cold sealable materials can be processed such as polypropylene, barrier films, laminates and polyethylene as well as environmentally friendly paper-based films.

Display

The new High-performance carton erector TF80 L achieves an output of up to 140 pieces per minute and is highly versatile. With the double forming head and the double handling of chain and forming press, the machine can be configured flexibly. Users benefit from fast format changes and very good adaptation to cartons of different shapes and sizes. The automatic magazine with vertical positioning stores up to 1,500 cardboard blanks. Another advantage of the TF80 L is its extremely compact dimensions.
