At this year's Fachpack, Ishida will be presenting systems for the precise weighing and reliable checking of products for the food and non-food sectors. Solutions for different needs and product requirements are included.
On the Specialist pack presents Ishida several of its multihead weighers. The CCW-RV-228W, for example, is suitable for confectionery. With high performance, multi-mixtures of up to four components can be processed, whereby multiple ejections are also possible. The CCW-RV-Micro multihead weigher is the right choice for filling high-priced products. This allows Target weights between 0.5 g and 20 g at a speed of up to 100 weighings per minute and an accuracy of 0.01 g. Thanks to the small dimensions of 650 X 650 X 970 mm, the scale requires very little space.
The CCW-R2 multihead weigher is a solution for the automatic packaging of highly adhesive and pressure-sensitive products. The linear weigher in the version with six heads up to 30 weighings per minute and product loss is less than 1 per cent. The weigher is also an economical solution for automating smaller batches. Another advantage is the small footprint of the machine.

Ishida AirScan enables the Fully automatic leak detection for MAP trays and bags. The inline system detects holes from 0.25 mm in diameter at high speeds of up to 180 packages per minute. With the use of laser technology, the system detects escaping carbon dioxide (CO2), which is contained in most inert gas atmospheres. Each individual package is inspected from all sides in milliseconds. Users not only gain security, but also reduce material costs because it is a non-destructive testing method. AirScan can be easily retrofitted to existing lines.

The company will also be exhibiting the IX-EN-5592 X-ray inspection system for large and heavy products or collection containers. The system is suitable for EURO standard containers with basic dimensions of 600 x 400 mm, which may weigh up to 25 kg. With the patented Genetic Algorithm technology, the user can sensitise the X-ray inspection system to specific foreign bodies and thus achieve detection rates. In addition to identifying many types of foreign bodies, the IX-EN-5592 also performs other quality control tasks. These include Completeness check via counting function, weight estimation and detection of deformed or broken products. The X-ray inspection system requires little floor space and can be easily integrated into existing production lines.
