Following its premiere in January of this year, organiser "Artexis EasyFairs" is already planning a new edition of the "Empack" trade fair for packaging technology in Dortmund. It will be held on 8 and 9 May 2019 at the exhibition grounds in the beer city. The intralogistics show "Logistics & Distribution" will take place at the same time as Empack.
Even before the first Dortmund Empack As one of over 40 regional EasyFairs trade fairs organised throughout Europe, project manager Tom Friedrich assured packaging journal: "Of course Empack will also take place in Dortmund in 2019." (we reported in issue 9/2017)
EasyFairs has now announced that the "Empack" brand in Dortmund will be recognised as the leading regional Trade fair for the packaging industry want to establish. The location is particularly well suited to attracting companies that want to target sales markets in North Rhine-Westphalia, northern and central Germany as well as parts of the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
More than half of the stand space already allocated
The response to the two-day trade fair has been good. According to EasyFairs, more than half of the available stand space has already been booked almost a year before the next event. Almost all product areas relating to the topic of PackagingPackaging materials, packaging materials, packaging aids, packaging technology, packaging machines, labelling, marking and printing technologies, Packaging logistics and services.
The parallel organisation of Empack with the trade fair "Logistics & Distribution" is the result of the intention to grow continuously at the Dortmund location. With the intralogistics theme and the industry show for packaging technology, both trade fairs represent the "ideal signpost for the future orientation of industry, trade and service providers", organiser EasyFairs is certain.
