EMPACK Award goes to RAJA

RAJA was delighted to receive the EMAPCK Award 2023 at EMPACK in Hamburg and presented the Xtaper.

RAJA presented its solutions at EMPACK in Hamburg from 14 to 15 June. The company engaged in intensive dialogue with visitors and used the opportunity to make new contacts. In addition to presenting the Xtaper, RAJA was also delighted to be honoured with the EMPACK Award.

RAJA looks back on its participation in the packaging trade fair EMPACK as successful. Last but not least RAJA was chosen as the winner of the EMPACK Award 2023 thanks to the large number of RAJA visitors. Interested parties at the trade fair had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the range of packaging products and find the right solution for their industry. From Cartons and mailing bags, padding material and adhesive tapes through to packing table and machine solutions the company offered an extensive selection at its stand to provide at least a small insight into the Group's wide range of products.

One focus was clearly on sustainable packaging - The focus was on paper-based solutions. A particular crowd-puller was the new Xtaper, a mobile hand dispenser for paper wet adhesive tape, which is an innovative product that combines the advantages of manual sealing with those of wet adhesive tape, thus revolutionising the packaging process.

Another special highlight at the trade fair stand was the Specially equipped packing table including upholstery machine integration. Here, visitors were able to experience how packaging processes can be designed more practically and efficiently. This was also a focal point of the lecture on „TCO and CO2 - 5 important letters in packaging purchasing“, which Katrin Pavelka, Head of PR & Events at RAJA Germany, gave on behalf of Daniel Szymek at the EMPACK Stage. The TCO approach enables companies to make more sustainable decisions.

„It is crucial to focus not only on the direct costs of packaging, such as the product price itself, but also on the 85 per cent indirect costs such as ordering processes, handling, storage costs, application time, the amount of material required, CO2-emissions etc...“
