Precise timing, fast belt changes

Habasit will be presenting its extensive portfolio of timing belts, processing belts and conveyor belts for the packaging industry: The focus is on the durable HabaSync timing belts, which guarantee the exact positioning of components and are therefore particularly suitable for stop-and-go operation of automated packaging lines.

In different widths with special coatings and freely selectable driver profiles, they fulfil a wide variety of requirements. Transport and drive tasks. Clever end connections ensure quick and smooth belt changes.

Another exhibition focus of Habasite is a New generation of rubber-based folding box belts with food conformity in accordance with EU and FDA regulations. These are used to feed packaging material for folding processes in cardboard packaging machines. The belts are available in market-standardised thicknesses of three, four and, in some cases, six millimetres. The durable, abrasion-resistant top coats consist of an optimised thermoplastic material mix (EU/FDA-compliant) or a newly developed rubber combination, depending on the product. These ensure gentle and careful handling of the processed material, maximum folding precision and excellent machine performance.
