Bosch Packaging Technology is presenting „one of the fastest and most flexible case packers on the market“ at FachPack 2019. In addition to the new Elematic 2001 WA system, the Waiblingen-based company will also be showcasing other solutions for secondary packaging in Nuremberg.
The Kliklok MEC side loader for the medium output range (Midrange Endload Cartoner, MEC) is being presented on the European market for the first time. The machine is characterised by a future-proof hygienic design, tool-free format changeovers and good operator accessibility.
It offers a wide format range for the use of different packaging applicationsfrom a 20 millimetre thick pizza to a 100 millimetre high cake. The Kliklok MEC processes up to 170 cartons per minute.
Format changes are carried out without tools, are easily reproducible and can be carried out by just one operator. in ten to twelve minutes carry out.
In addition, the new Elematic 2001 WA which complements the proven series and can produce one-piece and shelf-ready two-piece multipacks. Compared to previous versions, the new machine has been designed to save space, It also offers a high degree of flexibility in terms of Different packing styles.

The system is in different versions available for wrap-around cartons, trays with inner or outer inverters. Format changes are easy to carry out and take an average of six minutes. After the format change, the machine continues to run at full capacity without any further fine adjustments and produces saleable packaging.
