Ampack has recently expanded its portfolio of bottle and cup filling machines for liquid to highly viscous foods. Virtual exhibits from the Syntegon company show the possibilities in the area of cup filling: The machines are available in the hygienic versions clean, ultra-clean and aseptic and cover different customer requirements in terms of performance range, degree of automation and product application.
The new LFS filling machine offers a suitable solution for the flexible filling and packaging of products in the low output range. frequent product or format changes and is made up of individual modules with integrated electronics together. Each module includes important machine functions such as cup infeed, disinfection, filling, sealing and cup ejection and can be configured for individual production requirements or expanded at a later date.
Food manufacturers can choose between two chemical-free sterilisation processes for their packaging material: UVC light or pulsed light technology. In addition to these methods, hydrogen peroxide is used on the FCL linear filling machine (photo) to sterilise packaging materials and machines in order to achieve a longer product shelf life and a higher level of product protection, which is required in the demanding aseptic sector.
