KHS is presenting new machine and packaging solutions at this year's drinktec. Among other things, the company is presenting the SmartCan filler-capper block, which was developed jointly with Ferrum. 

The centrepiece of the performance is the Ferrum designed filler-capper block SmartCan by KHS/Ferrum, the demonstrates added value in the areas of hygiene, flexibility and ease of use. With its new Loop LITE PET bottle concept, KHS is making a further contribution to the optimisation of Environmental footprint of beverage packaging and promotion of closed material cycles. The company will also be presenting a modular automation concept for PET lines and its range of services - which includes both on-site solutions and digital offerings.

With its new Loop LITE packaging concept, the company presents a Lightweight 0.5-litre PET bottle made from 100 per cent recycled material. Thanks to its specially developed design, the environmentally friendly packaging for highly carbonated beverages makes it possible to Material reduction of up to 25 per cent compared to conventional CSD bottles on the market and can be fed into the closed recycling loop. It also offers long-lasting product protection thanks to a thin inner glass coating. The Nature MultiPack system ensures optimum carrying comfort.
