The deadline for entries is coming up soon! Companies, institutions and individuals from Germany and abroad can enter their innovative packaging solutions for the German Packaging Award 2018. However, the competition entries must be received by the competition jury by 30 June 2018.
The organiser of the German Packaging Award is the German Packaging Institute (dvi). The Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy acts as patron. An independent jury made up of representatives from companies, associations, universities and the media decides on the winning entries.
Competition entries can be submitted in ten categoriesDesign and finishing, functionality and convenience, product presentation, cost-effectiveness, sustainability, safety, logistics and material flow, new materials, „machine engineering, technology and software“ and young talent.
The award ceremony will take place at the FachPack 2018 in Nuremberg. The winners receive a trophy, a certificate and a seal for public relations work. Particularly outstanding achievements are honoured with the Packaging award in gold excellent.
