The German Packaging Institute e. V. (dvi) is extending the submission phase for innovations for the German Packaging Award 2023. Companies, institutes and individuals from Germany and abroad can now submit their best solutions until 31 May 2023.
For the submission of their products or prototypes, participants can choose from 10 categories, ranging from design & finishing, product presentation, efficiency and sustainability to logistics & material flow, digitalisation and packaging machines. It is also possible to submit entries in several categories at the same time.
"The German Packaging Award is the most prestigious and largest showcase for packaging in Europe. Since its first edition in 1963, over 10,000 entries have competed for the industry's top European award.“

In addition to the Packaging Award, the independent expert jury of the German Packaging Award an additional Gold Award for particularly pioneering innovations that stand out even among the packaging award winners. „Our jury is made up of a broad-based panel of experts from business, research, education and the media. It examines all entries personally and directly at a two-day meeting at the premises of premium partner IGEPA group,“ explains Berndt.
