Robert Habeck is patron
The patron of the event is traditionally the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and now also Climate Protection. In his welcome address, Robert Habeck also addresses packaging consumption and packaging waste, which have risen steadily in recent years and decades.
"Precisely because we can't do without packaging in most cases, we need to break new ground. Many companies are already working hard to avoid unnecessary packaging, to make reusable packaging more widely available and to return valuable raw materials contained in disposable packaging to the cycle as secondary raw materials after use."
