The labelling machine specialist Gernep offers its global customer base in the beverage, food, consumer, healthcare and non-food industries customised, user-friendly and flexible solutions for self-adhesive, cold glue and hot melt labelling.
Gladlyp is also positioned across all sectors at interpack. Visitors will be able to see two premium labellers from the cosmetics and food industries as well as a compact linear labeller for smaller output ranges. All exhibits are equipped with latest self-adhesive technology equipped.
The large number of different consumer goods also requires flexible and customised solutions when it comes to product labelling. The labellers on display have a whole range of additional options. For example, the Gernep Puck Handling System uses so-called pucks to transport unstable and non-stable products through the labeller. A new, universally designed puck can now even transport eight different products in different sizes, shapes and materials.
Current coding and control techniques are also presented: Cameras check the containers for the presence of labels and barcodes at the end of the labelling process. An integrated rejection system ensures that containers that are not precisely equipped are automatically rejected.
