Change of baton at Gmund

The paper producer Gmund announces a change in the management. Herbert Eibach is succeeded by Torsten Dreke.

Herbert Eibach will hand over the core areas of production, human resources, finance and parts of sales to the new Managing Director Torsten Dreke from January 2023. „As a result, we have Additional reinforcement with many years of experience for the site in Gmund am Tegernsee,“ emphasises Florian Kohler, owner and Managing Director of Gmund Papier.

Herbert Eibach will invest the free capacity in the integration of the new mill for 100% recycled paper in France and the expansion of Gmund Papier in the Far East. Another focus of the new management is Gmund Paper Industrial. A growth area in which paper production for the consumer goods packaging sector co-operates with research into new ecological plant-based paper products. This is to the benefit of national and international brand manufacturers.
