Graphic systems automated cleaning

Grafische Systeme adds a series of cleaning devices to its sales programme to improve the automation and optimisation of printing processes.

Grafische Systeme is now offering its customers a supplementary range for the optimisation and automation of printing processes and operating sequences. The company is adding a series of cleaning devices to its sales programme, as thorough cleaning is a prerequisite for quality in flexographic printing.

Cleaning anilox rollers and printing plates with automatic devices has advantages. The process is gentle on the environment, the operator's health and the company's budget for purchasing cleaning agents. Added to this are the Time savings and safety, to always obtain a reliable result.

The cleaning devices from Graphic systems are purchased directly from the manufacturer printSystems, which also supplies the appropriate cleaning fluids for different types of printing inks. All devices work in one closed cycle that allows multiple use of cleaning agents and water.

Clean rollers and printing plates

The Quicker U 50 device cleans anilox rollers with Ultrasound in two selectable different frequencies. Damage to the rollers, which can easily occur during manual cleaning, is ruled out. Each device is customised.

The Quicker C 66, C 96 and C 140 are three devices available in different working widths for cleaning flexo plates. The plates automatically cleaned, rinsed and dried on both sides. The cleaning process is initiated and carried out as soon as a plate is detected by the sensor at the infeed. To load the plates, there is either a fixed table, a mobile conveyor or an automatic feed system that can hold up to 18 plates at a time.

Another addition is the Quicker HP printing chamber cleaning device. All press parts that can be removed - such as ink ducts, doctor blades, impression cylinders, etc. - are cleaned of ink residues. Parts up to a maximum size of 660 x 260 x 140 mm can be attached to a rotating basket. The cleaning agent is applied cold, but the water is heated to utilise the evaporation effect for pre-drying.
