A sparkling wine manufacturer from Lake Constance wants to set a good example and will no longer use paper labels on its bottles in future. To this end, Heinz Wagner Sekt has invested in its own printing system.
The young company assumes that it could save up to 20,000 litres of water a year by printing directly on the bottles. It bases this on a study by the Pro Recycling Paper Initiative, which assumes a requirement of 0.3 litres of water per DIN A4 sheet.

Heinz Wagner Sekt has invested in its own printing system for direct printing on the bottle, with which the manufactory can now print its bottles flexibly on site without any great effort. The design and colours can be adapted in no time at all. In this way, the company also wants to be able to easily print individual customer orders and special editions on the bottle.
To refinance the printing press and convince other companies of the concept, Heinz Wagner Sekt has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Start Next.
