Printing ink specialist Hubergroup Print Solutions is further expanding its environmentally friendly portfolio for commercial and packaging offset printing.

In order to make its product range more sustainable, the Hubergroup has formulated a new colour range based on the low-migration MGA Natura series. It is particularly suitable for Printing of food packaging. In addition, the Cradle to Cradle Product Innovations Institute now also includes a variant of the MGA Natura colour series and various water-based paints from the Acrylac series with Health Gold status.

The institute thus confirms that the printing inks and varnishes do not contain any substances that pose a high risk to humans or the environment (i.e. no x-rated or unknown chemicals). The Hubergroup points out that it now has a complete portfolio certified with Cradle to Cradle Material Health Gold.

Since then, the company has continuously improved the environmental footprint of its products, with the Alpha Viva commercial series achieving Gold status in 2018. The company produces a large proportion of its raw materials in its own chemicals division, which is why it claims to be able to act sustainably. along the value chain ensure.
