A successful example of the realisation of this goal is the Optimisation of the logistics process for the cutting material manufacturer Sumitomo Electric Hartmetall GmbH. The combination of „PaperJet“, a paper padding machine that has been awarded the Blue Angel, material made from renewable raw materials and flexible packing tables has created a win-win situation: „We are thus offering a customised customer solution that not only protects the environment, but also increases efficiency and ergonomics in the workplace,“ emphasises Franziska Geerling, expert for sustainable packaging at Evers GmbH.
