At interpack 2026, IMA will demonstrate how Cognitive Manufacturing is revolutionising production processes. Visitors can experience innovative machinery and solutions that increase efficiency and flexibility across various sectors.
IMA will be presenting a comprehensive range of innovative solutions at interpack 2026 under the guiding principle of Cognitive Manufacturing. In Hall 17, visitors will experience the integration of technology into the production process across more than 4,500 square metres, featuring 38 machines, which IMA says will lead to greater efficiency and flexibility.
The Loop: A Space for Innovation
At the heart of the IMA stand in Düsseldorf is „The Loop“, an immersive innovation space. Here, autonomous robotics and AI-powered interactions are showcased, offering a glimpse into the future of production environments. This technology is intended to enable production systems to think, adapt, and evolve to meet the demands of modern industry.
Pharmaceutical innovations
In the pharmaceutical sector, IMA is introducing several new machines, including the Domina tablet press, which offers an ideal configuration for powder compression thanks to its modular platform. The Tile-X line, operating with magnetic levitation, is presented as a groundbreaking innovation in the fill-finish process for high-quality pharmaceutical products.
Sustainable packaging solutions
In the packaging sector too, IMA is focused on efficiency and sustainability. The Giant1 series offers an innovative blister inversion module that reduces packaging material and lowers logistics costs, without requiring a redesign of the blisters.
In the field of medical technology, IMA presents the X Pen Lab platform, which offers precise solutions for small-scale production. This platform supports diverse production variants and is ideal for the early development phase.
These and other innovations demonstrate how IMA is transforming the production landscape with state-of-the-art automation solutions, setting new benchmarks in efficiency, flexibility, and sustainability.
