Lantech's European site is located in the Netherlands. The US company is presenting several newly developed machine solutions. The new MFC multi-format carton erector brings flexibility to packaging, as different carton sizes can be erected with one machine. This solution is particularly suitable for logistics centres or e-commerce retailers.
Up to four separately configurable blank magazines can be filled during operation. This means that different carton sizes can be processed without changeovers and production interruptions. Thanks to this flexibility, users can always produce suitable and reduced-volume cartons and reduce their shipping costs. Compared to the use of several conventional carton erectors, significantly less floor space is required and the central discharge point for the packaging means that several conveyor belts do not need to be combined to form a discharge system.
The new QL-400 stretch wrapper from Lantech features the patented Load Guardian control system. The intelligent system creates the appropriate charging profiles for frequently occurring charging applications. After the one-off set-up, the default settings can be called up quickly and easily using memorable images, and adjustments can be made at any time. The operator simply enters the loading characteristic and the control unit automatically determines the parameters for safe loading.
The QL-400 stretch wrapper is suitable for a diagonal load size of up to 1,829 millimetres, a maximum wrapping height of 2,032 (optionally 2,794) millimetres and a maximum weight of more than 2,250 kilograms. The machine wraps up to 35 loads per hour, The film can be pre-stretched by up to 300 per cent. The display provides simple instructions via video and text for troubleshooting pallet packaging. This includes, for example, film tears, crushed goods and twisted loads.
