Milton Guerry is the new President of the IFR

Milton Guerry from Schunk USA is the new President of the International Federation of Robotics (IFR). Klaus König from KUKA Robotics was elected Vice President of the IFR.

The board of the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) elected Milton Guerry from Schunk USA as the new president. Klaus König from KUKA Robotics was elected as the new Vice President of the IFR.

Milton Guerry follows Steven Wyatt (ABB, Switzerland), who is leaving ABB and thus stepping down from office.

Guerry leads the team of Schunk USA based in Morrisville, North Carolina. He joined Schunk in 2000, where he had Various management positions in the past. He assumed his current role as Managing Director in 2007. Guerry is a member of the board of the American Robotic Industries Association (RIA) and began his career in the automotive industry in various technical functions.

Klaus König is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the KUKA Robotics division based in Augsburg. He joined the company in July 2017 as Chief Operating Officer (COO) joined KUKA AG. Prior to this, he held various management positions in the German automotive industry. During his career, he also took on international assignments and worked in Canada and Italy for several years. König has a degree in Graduate engineer for mechanical engineering of the RWTH Aachen.
