Trade fair duo starts in Cairo

The food and packaging industry will come together in Cairo from 5 to 7 December for Food Africa and pacprocess MEA.

Ahead of interpack in May, the interpack alliance is already bringing the food industry and the packaging sector together in Egypt. Food Africa and pacprocess MEA will take place at the exhibition centre in Cairo from 5 to 7 December.

For the food and agricultural industry, Food Africa is the largest trade fair on the continent and provides access to the growing African market for food. For exporters looking for new sales opportunities, the trade fair therefore offers an unrivalled trading and procurement platform. With "Ingredients Africa", "Fresh Africa", "Dates Africa" and "Sea Food Africa", the trade fair is also creating additional specialised platforms in the areas of ingredients and additives, fresh produce, dates and seafood this year.

The parallel pacprocess MEA with its range of products in the Processing & Packaging segment, is the ideal complement for the food sector in particular. But other user industries will also get a good overview of local, regional and international suppliers of packaging machines along the entire production process as well as packaging, packaging materials and the corresponding production technology.

Entry into the African market

In total 750 exhibitors from 31 countries will occupy around 30,000 square metres at Food Africa and pacprocess MEA. The trade fair duo is thus on course for growth. As the gateway to the African world, Egypt plays a key role in the MEA region and offers ideal conditions for dialogue with a qualified trade audience, which is expected in Cairo primarily from North Africa and the Middle East.
