Jokey founding partner hands over operational management

The Jokey Group has appointed a new CEO. On 1 January 2019, Jens Stadter took over the position of Chairman of the Management Board from Herbert Kemmerich. The founding shareholder and long-standing CEO is stepping down from operational management

The Jokey Group has appointed a new CEO. On 1 January 2019, Jens Stadter took over the position of Chairman of the Management Board from Herbert Kemmerich. The founding partner and long-standing CEO is stepping down from operational management and will focus on the strategic direction of the Jokey Group in future.

The 48-year-old Jens Stadter already joined the management board of Jokey in. His predecessor familiarised the designated successor with his tasks. Stadter holds a degree in industrial engineering and has over 20 years of management experience at companies in the metal and electrical industry as well as in the development, production and sales of plastic components and systems.

Further management remains unchanged

In addition to Jens Stadter as CEO, the management of the two largest Jokey plants, Jokey Plastik Wipperfürth and Jokey Plastik Gummersbach, as before, according to the company's statement Ralf Kemmerich, Managing Partner and COO, Peter Dörmbach, CFO, and Christof Kölschbach, CSO. Ralf Kemmerich, the third generation of the entrepreneurial family, is also represented on the management board.

Jokey was founded in Wipperfürth in 1968. The specialist in plastics processing is now managed by the second and third generation of the Kemmerich family. The group of companies is now divided into four divisions, has 15 plants in twelve countries and employs around 2,000 people. Jokey estimates its annual turnover at around 470 million euros. In the Packaging division, the company is one of the world's leading manufacturers with its wide range of plastic packaging, according to Jokey.
