Companies that want to make their processes and products greener need comprehensive expert knowledge and a 360-degree view of the topic. Because sustainability is multi-layered. This also applies to the use of adhesives. Adhesives expert Jowat is focussing on expanding its sustainable product portfolio. With its „Green Adhesives“ product family, Jowat has put together a suitable package of adhesives and comprehensive services for sustainable packaging.
Modern low-temperature hot melt adhesives, for example, can offer significant energy-saving potential - with high performance and process quality. Conventional hot melt adhesives are usually applied at temperatures of up to 180 °C. Jowat-Toptherm 851.99, which has been optimised for packaging processes, is ready for use at energy-saving temperatures from 99 °C. This makes it interesting not only for temperature-sensitive products such as frozen foods or confectionery. The MOAH-free hot melt adhesive from Jowat also impresses when packaging dry or fatty foods with a long shelf life.
Anyone who wants to combine energy savings with the use of sustainable raw materials will find a suitable solution in the bio-based hotmelt adhesives from the Jowatherm Grow range. The Grow 853.20 variant consists of 33 per cent DIN-tested, bio-based raw materials and can already be used at low temperatures from 120 °C in various packaging processes.
Both adhesives impress with sharp thread breakage and clean processing. They can therefore be used to reduce soiling on system parts and packaging. Unnecessary material consumption can be avoided.
At Interpack, Jowat proves that sustainable bonding can already be achieved comprehensively and economically today thanks to „Green Adhesives“. At its stand, the adhesives expert will be providing insights into its high-performance range of adhesives and its globally recognised service and consulting expertise.
