25 years ago, groninger expanded into America and opened another branch in New Jersey with just one employee. Since then, this area of the group has grown and celebrated its 25th anniversary on 29 April.
Today is groninger USA LLC has become an important pillar within the company. Almost 70 people are currently employed at the US branch in Charlotte, North Carolina. „The North American market has always been one of groninger's most important sales markets,“ explains Managing Director Jens Groninger. Already 17 years after the company was founded In 1980, the company founded its own overseas branch.
A decision that nobody regrets, even after 25 years. Today, the American branch is in a position, maintain complete filling and capping systems with our own personnel and supply the necessary spare parts to manufacture independently. Added value - both for the family-owned company's German sites in Crailsheim and Schnelldorf and for its North American customers. „We can act up to three times faster towards the customer - especially when it comes to the supply of spare parts,“ says Heiner Dornburg, who has been Managing Director at groninger USA since 2018.
