LogiMAT is pleased about double-digit growth at all levels

The organisers of the 16th „LogiMAT - International Trade Fair for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management“ from 13 to 15 March 2018 in Stuttgart, „Euroexpo Messe- und Kongress-GmbH“, have reported growth at all levels. 55,330 trade visitors were counted over the three days of the trade fair. 1,564 exhibitors exhibited.

The LogiMATThe LogiMAT organisers are delighted with the significant double-digit growth rates in visitors, exhibitors and exhibition space. In the three years since 2015, LogiMAT has even increased its visitor numbers by more than 50 per cent, according to the final press release. Euroexpo Managing Director Peter Kazander sees the good figures as „confirming LogiMAT's position as the world's most important trade fair for the logistics industry". Overall, the trade fair at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre occupied 117,000 square metres of exhibition space. 360 exhibiting companies took part. The exhibitor field was international. Companies travelled from almost 40 countries.

20 per cent of trade fair visitors came from abroad

Internationality The Basel-based market research institute „Wissler & Partner“ also found this to be the case for visitors. 20 per cent of visitors came from abroad, eleven per cent from Asia and America. 59.3 per cent of trade visitors came from industry and 14.7 per cent from wholesale and retail. 41.1 per cent of visitors had concrete investment projects in their luggage, according to the institute. More than five per cent of trade visitors at the trade fair awarded the contract.

Once again integrated into LogiMAT was the „TradeWorld“. The specialist show for retail logistics and omnichannelling processes counted almost ten per cent more exhibitors. 68.3 per cent of visitors rated TradeWorld as good or very good in the trade fair survey.

At the next Logimat from 19 to 21 February 2019 Michael Ruchty will act as project manager. Exhibition Director Peter Kazander will retire from the front line of LogiMAT.
