
After more than ten years at the helm of Carl Zeiss Meditec AG, Ludwin Monz is now taking over as Chairman of the Management Board of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG
Dr Ludwin Monz (58) succeeds Rainer Hundsdörfer (64) as Chairman of the Management Board of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg), who held the position for six years and is retiring as planned. Ludwin Monz is to continue to drive forward the strategic realignment of Heidelberg. In the future, he will continue on his chosen path of developing new markets with core competences.

The printing industry and its structures are changing at a rapid pace. Customers' expectations of Heidelberg remain high, however. „An important goal is therefore not to stand still in our own development,“ emphasises Ludwin Monz. „We want to continue to pursue our strategy and expand our leading position in our core markets. Prioritise more strongly according to customer needs."
Ludwin Monz is a recognised leader in German industry with capital market experience. He has a long career in technology companies, which includes positions as head of development as well as the management of various business units.
