Berry has developed a special PET bottle for the luxury water NEUE Water. It is made from 100 per cent recycled PET and is characterised by its flat shape. It is also labelled with changing works of art.
The bottle from NEUE Water is not only made of recycled material, but thanks to its ergonomic, flat shape, it also fits easily into pockets, bags and seat backs in aeroplanes and trains. Berrys NEUE Water founder Michael Lowers' technical expertise and his many years of experience in the use of recycled plastic were crucial in realising the original design concept. The flat mould posed a challenge for the injection stretch blow moulding (ISBM) process for traditional PET bottle production. and Berry successfully adapted the technology to accommodate the new design.
Art on the bottle
The bottle mould has a uninterrupted, convex window on one side that enlarges the labelling area for the six limited edition artist labels and makes the product an eye-catcher on the shelf. The artwork will change constantly throughout the fashion season. The inaugural collection includes six vibrant prints by Berlin-based artist Studio Raaad.

NEUE water is extracted from one of only two artesian wells in Denmark, which is known for its soft, round flavour. It is bottled just a few metres from the source, which enables environmentally friendly production.
