Multivac Marking & Inspection from Enger has a new management team. At the beginning of the year, a management trio took over the responsibilities of the previous Managing Director Volker Gerloff. Dr Hendrik Frank will be responsible for technology, Karsten Strothmann for sales and Julia Timpe for administration.
The new appointment to the company management was made as part of a strategic Realignment Multivac announces. The new management trio has many years of experience in Multivac Marking & Inspection and will ensure the continued successful market positioning of the labelling and inspection solution provider.
The company from Enger has been part of the Multivac Group since 1993. Volker Gerloff had „contributed significantly to the development and integration of the company into the Multivac Group“ in the 25 years of his work, honoured Guido Spix, Managing Director and CTO/COO of Multiva Sepp Haggenmüller SE & Co. KG, the departed executive.
Operating area expanded, production capacities increased
Gerloff has consistently expanded its portfolio. The spectrum currently ranges from cross web, conveyor belt and link conveyor labellers to Carton labellers and Direct web printers. Inspection systems such as checkweighers, metal detectors and X-ray inspection equipment complement the range.
Just last December, a new production and office building was inaugurated in Enger. This means that the company now has around 7,400 square metres of floor space. 200 employees work at Multivac Marking & Inspection. The Production capacities in the area of conveyor belt labellers and inspection systems have already been expanded. The next step will be the Process flows in the incoming goods department and warehouse, in production and assembly departments, in acceptance and also in shipping.
