Ingot packed with SIG

The Australian company Massel is now packaging its plant-based liquid broth in an innovative material from SIG. The packaging enables Massel to reduce its CO2 footprint.

Massel's popular plant-based liquid broth is now available in Australia packaged with SIG's Signature Full Barrier packaging materials. The innovative material replaces fossil-based polymers with mass-balanced, forest-based polymers made from tall oil. Massel can also reduce its CO2 footprint in this way.

Tall oil is a by-product of paper production. All three The main raw materials of the Signature Full Barrier packaging material come from certified, responsible sourcesThe raw cardboard is made from wood from FSC-certified forests and other controlled sources, the forest-based polymers are certified via a mass balance system according to ISCC Plus, the wafer-thin aluminium layer that protects against light and oxygen is certified by ASI (Aluminium Stewardship Initiative).
