For the filling of sensitive beverages in a hygienic environment, systems supplier KHS offers a comprehensive portfolio of gentle systems for various container shapes and materials. The InnoPET BloFill ACF-L stretch blow-moulding/filling block is a particularly space-saving development for sensitive beverages in PET bottles. A new switching valve controls the volume of the inflow to the actual filling valve and thus enables four different filling speeds. Both large and small bottle volumes with different viscosities can thus be optimally processed. The filling process is stored in the product recipes and manual changeover is no longer necessary.
The new Innopack CNP (Carton Nature Packer) combines beverage cans into rigid packs with the aid of carton attachments. With an output of up to 108,000 containers per hour 4, 6 or 8-pack variants are available in standard and sleek formats in volumes from 250 to 580 millilitres.
Another packaging alternative is the Nature MultiPack. The drinks containers are joined together with adhesive dots to form a stable pack and up to 90 per cent of material is saved by dispensing with outer packaging. It is now also available for the high-performance range. Up to 108,000 containers can be processed per hour.
