For the automated and therefore efficient packaging of very flat or lightweight products in pouches, Multivac has modified a chamber belt machine designed for large batches so that a sealing height of 0 mm is possible.
Whether smoked salmon, fish fillets or whole fish, sliced cheese, ham, beef carpaccio or even steaks - the B 625 chamber belt machine can now be used to produce a wide range of products. Packaging a wide variety of flat products even more securely, quickly and easily than before. A sealing height of 0 mm can be realised thanks to the two sealing bars seamlessly integrated into the base plate in the sealing area of the machine.
The new model variant stands for greater reliability and speed in the packaging process, because the bag necks lie flat during evacuation and sealing and are no longer kinked compared to the standard sealing height of at least 25 mm. At the same time, product transport, including product feed into the chamber, is much safer because interfering contours have been eliminated and friction points on the feed plate have been minimised. A further advantage in terms of safety is offered by temperature-controlled impulse sealing (TI), which ensures consistent sealing quality with lower energy consumption - even under heavy loads in continuous operation.
For added efficiency, Multivac has the automatic infeed conveyor is decoupled from the packaging process. This enables automated loading of the chamber belt machine and therefore a higher throughput with less labour. A noticeable increase in efficiency can also be achieved with manual loading by using just one person.
The B 625 has a Multivac Hygienic Design and therefore fulfils the highest hygiene standards. The manually swivelling lid, which can be adjusted to any position, enables ergonomic access to the inside of the chamber and thus time-saving cleaning and maintenance of the chamber belt machine. This is also reflected in less downtime for necessary servicing. Furthermore, the robust and durable design of the packaging machine is an additional guarantee for high performance and cost-effectiveness.
The compact B 625 is characterised not least by a high degree of flexibility with regard to the products to be packaged and a small footprint. Problem-free and above all safe can process a wide variety of bag materials and bag formats. The equipment with various vacuum pumps can also be customised according to requirements. With a shrink tank or shrink tunnel and a drying tunnel, this high-performance model can easily be expanded into a highly efficient shrink packaging line.
