In addition to comprehensive co-packing expertise, the service provider's range of services also includes its own dispatch service.
Originating from a printing company with high technological standards, the company increasingly focussed on the printing sector in the mid-1980s. Manual labour, which has always played an important role in the packaging of selected products. The premises quickly became too small in view of the rapidly growing order volume, which is why the company moved to a new multifunctional hall in Idstein in 1995. Since then, over 4,000 m² of storage space has been available for the wide range of tasks. To this day, the service portfolio continues to expand.
Packaging is safe and appropriate still manually or mechanised. In the large high-bay warehouse with space for up to 4,000 Euro pallets, for example, all accessories for promotional campaigns, gift packs or other advertising packages and mailings are temporarily stored so that they can then be picked and packaged on time. Modern machines are available for special tasks such as packaging catalogues and price lists in film, enveloping mailings, cellophane wrapping, banding or strapping.

The offering in this area covers all activities in the areas of incoming goods, order entry, customer service, picking, packing, despatch, invoicing, payment transactions and reporting. The various work steps can be organised as Building blocks combined or utilised separately. For example, Naatz Integrated Services has taken over the warehousing and dispatch of around 1,500 specialist titles for a leading specialist publisher of labour law and social law. The tasks include, for example, the storage of books and laws, mass mailings of supplementary deliveries, the printing of orders generated by the specialist publisher, the picking and dispatch of orders and the processing of customer returns and returns. The company fulfils between 2,000 and 3,000 orders per month on schedule for specialist publishers.

Special case of customisation
During assembly, for example, gift packaging is specified and counter displays are assembled. The range of services also includes the assembly of floor displays on CHEP pallets and their despatch. Sachets and stand-up pouches are currently placed in sales displays for contract manufacturers in the flexible packaging sector. The products are counted by the employees, packed in the appropriate cardboard packaging according to the customer's specifications and stacked on pallets. It is essential that all quality-related work processes are carried out according to fixed rules. For this reason, Naatz also introduced the Quality management system introduced in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015.
However, products of a completely different kind are also packaged. In the company's long history, for example, Christmas wooden sledges and giant plush bunnies for PoS displays have been packaged for well-known confectionery manufacturers. Children's chairs have also been packaged for well-known Norwegian children's furniture manufacturers in a number of projects. The realisation of the often time-limited campaigns of individual manufacturers is a particular strength of the service provider, which can quickly adapt to the customer's requirements.

For example, address data from Excel, Access or other databases is imported when sending advertising material, and the addresses are checked and duplicates matched using special software. Other services include sorting by routing area, postage optimisation and the printing of container coding and postal forms.

A new challenge for employees is the task of archiving files. The trend was recognised at an early stage and the appropriate measures were taken. The Valuables warehouse ensures that files and important documents from large and small companies, some private individuals and law firms are stored securely. Access is only permitted to authorised persons. The usual strict criteria apply. Customers„ files are scanned using the specially developed “NIS Scan" app and then packed into the file box provided, labelled and collected and stored by a courier, carrier or parcel service. The customer can then have the required file sent or digitised at any time (scan on demand).
