The company's recently launched Polyfoil MBM tubes topped the winners' podium in the Pharmapack Awards' Sustainability Excellence category.
Hoffmann Neopaca global supplier of packaging for the pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and oral hygiene sectors, was honoured in the coveted "Excellence in Sustainability" at the 2021 Pharmapack Awards. The winning solution was the mono-material barrier tube Polyfoil MMB, a combination of pharmaceutical-grade product protection, recyclability and aesthetics.
In a sector that has long struggled to introduce environmentally friendly packaging due to hygiene requirements, the Polyfoil MBM tubes score highly. They reduce the CO2-footprint of pharmaceutical packaging by up to 38 per cent compared to conventional laminate tubes. The tubes, which Fully equipped with product-contacting layers in pharmaceutical quality offer comprehensive product protection and compatibility with a wide range of formulas.

The tube body is produced using adhesive lamination. This innovative process differs greatly from existing solutions using blown film and extruded film.
