Thimm is integrating the Thimm Packaging division, based in Sibiu, Romania, into the Thimm pack'n'display brand. By integrating the brand, Thimm is further standardising its brand presence at European level.
Romanian customers will benefit from the adaptation of a new extended solution portfolio for the point of sale. The family-owned company Thimm is thus further expanding its leading role in the market for packaging and displays.
The basis for the brand integration was the further development of the production site in Șura Mică, a municipality in Sibiu County (Romania), through an extensive investment package. Among other things, Thimm invested in a state-of-the-art corrugator, which went into operation six months ago.
In addition to significantly expanded Production capacities, a higher Delivery flexibility and optimised Quality factors customers can now benefit from a broader portfolio from Romania: in addition to solutions for packaging goods, displays for presenting goods at the point of sale will also be available in future.

The production plants in Alzey, Castrop-Rauxel, Eberswalde, Essen, Northeim, Wörrstadt, Wolnzach (Germany) and Všetaty (Czech Republic) were united under the new Thimm pack'n'display brand back in April of this year.
