New COO at Progroup

Progroup has appointed Dr Marc Sesterhenn to the company's Management Board as Chief Operation Officer with effect from 1 October.

The Progroup has appointed Dr Marc Sesterhenn to the company's Management Board as Chief Operation Officer with effect from 1 October. He is responsible for the operation and further development of the production sites and supply chain management.

Together with Maximilian Heindl and Dr Volker Metz (CFO), Sesterhenn will continue to drive forward the future-proof direction of the company on the Management Board and, in particular, expand the company's technology leadership. He emphasises: „Progroup stands for innovation, growth and sustainability. I am looking forward to getting to know my colleagues at the individual locations, the Consolidate technology and cost leadership locally and develop it further in the interests of customers and employees."

With a doctorate in mechanical engineering, he has held management positions for around 20 years. Most recently, he was Managing Director Operations at the enclosure and system specialist Rittal. Other positions include Rohde & Schwarz GmbH & Co. KG, where he was Executive Vice President Operations and a member of the management team. Since 2003, he has held various management positions at MAN Truck & Bus, 2012 to 2016 as Chief Production Officer at MAN Truck & Bus Österreich AG.
