In January, Christoph Wachter took over the management of the flexible packaging paper division at Koehler Paper. He succeeds Eckhard Kallies, who has strategically positioned this new division for the long term as part of a three-year mandate.
Koehler Paper was in 2019 with an investment of over 300 million euros The new production line 8 at the production site in Kehl marks the company's entry into the growth market for flexible packaging paper.
Christoph Wachter takes over as head of the division at Koehler Paper in a strong growth phase. He comes from Tyrol in Austria, is married and has two grown-up children. The 58-year-old studied business administration and has 30 years of experience in speciality papers in the paper industry, where he was Managing Director with international responsibility.
