The extremely linear design and a greatly simplified drive train minimise the movements of the machine, in the Around 40 per cent fewer components than the previous models. Users benefit from convenient maintenance, lower total cost of ownership compared to conventional solutions and greater reliability.

The HY7 from Sacmi is the First winding machine with hybrid technology and utilises not only mechanical, but also particularly powerful and energy-efficient servo drives.

The fine tuning of each individual module ensures consistent performance and quality. For example, users can precisely set the optimum number of revolutions with the winding tool. The individual, motorised parts of the folding unit can be flexibly adapted to the product shape and the properties of the wrapping film so that even the latest environmentally friendly films can be processed.

Modular design for absolute flexibility

The HY7 modular wrapping machine has a standard frame on which a project-specific perforated aluminium plate is mounted. This carries a series of Interchangeable cantilever units or modules, which enable customised configuration to meet customer requirements. The wrapping tool defines the type of packaging such as side, double or top twist as well as bundle, envelope or simple wrapping. Conversions can be made very quickly.
