From now on, the bars of the Excelsior Magie du Chocolat Premium private label will be packaged in NatureFlex: specifically, the 100-gram bars with the flavours Almond Magic, Biscuit Dream and Hazelnut Poetry. The special feature of the bioplastic film is, that it does not have to be disposed of in the plastic bin, but can be utilised in the home's own garden compost.

Further areas of application are being examined

The protective sleeve fulfils exactly the same purpose as conventional plastic: food packaged in it stays fresh. Given its versatility, it can be used for chip, bread and coffee bags, for example, or as a protective film for fruit and vegetables, The Nuremberg-based food discounter is currently examining further areas of application.

The aim is to ensure that the sustainability campaign is Norma also in the coming years and that every product packaging will be analysed to ensure that it. According to the company, it has already saved numerous tonnes of plastic waste or switched to significantly more sustainable alternatives.
