German Packaging Congress 2021 becomes the pinnacle of expertise

The countdown is on: Even under pandemic conditions, the German Packaging Congress will take place this year. The countdown is on: Even under pandemic conditions, the German Packaging Congress will take place this year. In an online event, prominent speakers will ensure that the German Packaging Institute delivers what it promises for 2021: a summit of expertise. Packaging journal is a media partner for the first time this year. 

Under the motto „No lockdown for sustainability and innovation“ the German Packaging Congress will take place on 17 and 18 March. Short presentations, talks and discussion panels can be followed from the comfort of your workplace or home office. 

Sustainability, digitalisation and innovation

These are the topics that are burning on the industry's nails. The Programme at the German Packaging Congress is geared towards the three key areas of sustainability, digitalisation and innovation. 

The high-calibre line-up is correspondingly Panel of workshops and discussion rounds, to which the actor and environmental activist Hannes Jaenicke as well as NABU's environmental policy officer, the managing director of markets and companies of the WWF, the Head of Corporate Packaging at Nestlé and the Senior Professional Plastic Strategy ”REset Plastic” of the Schwarz Group.
