adapa is presenting a new packaging film for the appealing production of foods such as meat and fish at the point of sale. According to the company, the skin film can also improve shelf life.

Skin packaging is the first choice for the presentation of high-quality meat and fish products. The transparent, precisely fitting films enclose the product like a second skin and allow a clear view of the contents. The premium look also characterises the presentation at the POS: the tight-fitting, high-gloss film gently holds the meat, fish and other products in place in the packaging and protects them from leaks. This means they can be presented standing or hanging.

Compared to other common packaging methods, the Durability can be extended with skin foils. Finally, skin also goes hand in hand with convenience, e.g. in the preparation of ready meals, which can be cooked in the microwave directly in the packaging using suitable foil.
